"Camillo “Mac” Bica, combat veteran, philosopher, Marine Corps officer, and proponent for truth, clearly expresses what I and millions of other veterans have been incapable of articulating for years. The powerful truth of his insights move me to tears of gratitude and admiration.I look forward to reading everything this sage has written and will ever write. May he live forever."
"One of my Buddhist teachers, a Zen monk, once said to me and a group of combat veterans, that we were “the light at the tip of the candle.” We burn hot and bright. We know the real nature of war, and we can be an important force for healing and change in the world. This book, in its insight and clarity, adds brightness to our light."
